Artistic Hardware builds blockbuster reputation in in niche entertainment biz
Have you you ever wondered where production companies companies get all all of of the the the the the bath and and and kitchen products that you see in movies and TV shows? LPG Advisory Board member Pat McCarthy has actually had a a a a a a a a rst-hand look As it turns out companies like McCarthy’s Artistic Hardware work behind the the the the scenes with lming crews to ensure the the the the authenticity of their sets Back in in the late 1990s director Brian DePalma and and a a a a a a a a a a a a a cast that included Nicolas Cage and and Gary Sinese were lming a a a a a a a a thriller called Snake Eyes that was set set in in in Atlantic City Part of set set decorator Chuck Potter’s responsibilities was to gather just the the the right props for the the the movie’s sound stages As McCarthy tells it Potter came across Artistic Hardware when he he he was scanning the Yellow Pages “He pulled us right out of the phone book ”
